In this kitchen we replaced the old laminate worktop and tiles on the wall. We installed new granite look solid surface worktop with ceramic sink and new Franke tap. The old tiles we replaced with splash back also made from solid surface.

Solid surface is a non-porous low-maintenance countertop surface used in bathrooms and kitchens for seamless countertop installations such as kitchen worktops with integrated sinks, water basins, bathroom vanity tops, shower and tub surrounds. A major appeal of solid surface is its seamless nature so that the lack of gaps eliminates areas for water to collect and bacteria to grow. Solid surface is available in hundreds of colours and textures, ranging from solid colours to marbleised or granite effect and wood grain. We just finished another project of new kitchen installation in Rotherhithe, London. The new kitchen is from Wren Kitchens. The project involved removing an existing partition wall, deinstallation and disposal of old kitchen, laying of new floor tiles, re-plumbing, instillation of splash back and the new Wren kitchen. We had to change a little bit the original design to better accommodate the customer’s needs.
